Santore & Company, Allenhurst, New Jersey,

of the Four Winds Restaurant in Manasquan, New Jersey.
Situated on Deal Lake directly across the bridge from Asbury Park and within walking distance of the ocean, the new McGillicuddy’s has actually been open since June under a management agreement. The facility has a very active bar; actually two bars. Inside there is a huge forty-seat oval bar domed with large flat-screen televisions. Outside there is a spacious tiki-bar complimented by an additional ninety seats for casual dining, where patrons sit under colorful umbrellas during fair-weather months.
On weekends you can always find a lively duo or small band performing after 10:00 p.m. Sundays and Monday nights the bar is filled with football fanatics. Everyone can find their favorite beer at McGillicuddy’s. The bar has 18 delicious beers on tap and features a “Happy Hour” Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In an effort to overcome that shortcoming, the new owners have brought signature items from their renowned Four Winds menu including their famous prime rib to Loch Arbour. “The food has really been kicked up a notch since the new owners have taken over,” states Santore. “Our office is right down the block from the restaurant and many of our employees and clients have noticed a big change in the food,” continues Santore.
McGillicuddy’s takes over where the Lakehouse left off as a local haven for residents of Interlaken, Loch Arbour, Allenhurst, West Allenhurst, Ocean Township and Deal. Many of these area residents frequent the restaurant more than one night a week. In the summertime, the outside deck is packed with three generations of families from this local following. Grandparents, parents and their college-aged children all frequent the restaurant, especially during the summer.
